 About Us

Getting involved on a personal level is an important part of helping others. On this page we'll present some details about our goals and the people behind them.

Disaster Relief Committee

Some of the people who run are involved with our organization include area churches, non-profit and civic organizations, businesses and city government leaders.
You might know some of us: Michelle (Shelley) Hosmer, Ryan Cook, Shawn Williams, Carl and Janice Hughes, and Conrad Eigenmann. Most of us have many years of fund-raising experience from working with the Jaycees in community projects such as fireworks shows and Christmas parades. It takes a lot of planning and brainstorming to make successful projects. We get a tremendous amount of satisfaction when a plan comes together. We are not paid employees, but rather dedicated volunteers. The reward is being able to provide for those in need.

Carl Hughes is a Titusville City Councilman, serves as Elder in his church, is the State Director for the Titusville Jaycees, and serves on the Board of the Disaster Relief Committee.

Our Projects

We have helped victims of tornados, fires, and floods. We have also helped those who are just going through tough times by providing Christmas for their children. We have helped to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. And the needs continue to arise everyday. Now we are going to help those families who lost loved ones in the plane crashes of Sept 11th. We will raise funds by hosting a Christian concert, and 100% of all proceeds will be sent directly to those families.

For more about this concert see our Upcoming Events page.
